This website is operated by the Wyoming Historical Society ("the Society," "we," "us" or "our"), a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving and sharing the history of Wyoming. References to "the site" mean this website and any pages, files, forms and features made available through it.

Using This Site

You are welcome to browse, read and learn from this site for personal, educational, research and other noncommercial purposes. When using the site, you agree not to:

The Society's name, logo and program names are its marks and may not be used in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation without our permission.

Third-Party and Historical Materials

Some photographs, documents and other materials on this site are held by partner archives, museums, libraries or individuals, and some may be in the public domain. Where we credit another source, rights in that material belong to that source. We cannot grant permission for material we do not own, and you are responsible for obtaining any permissions you need before reusing it.

Content You Submit

Donations, Memberships, Purchases and Events

Donations, memberships, store purchases and event registrations may be processed by third-party providers. Those transactions are also subject to the provider's own terms and privacy practices. Questions about a donation, purchase, refund or registration should be directed to us using the contact information below. For questions about the tax treatment of a gift, please consult your tax advisor.
