The Society is run by a volunteer board out of one office in Riverton, which makes what a gift pays for unusually easy to follow. All three routes below are set up and working now.
A gift now
Any amount, once or repeated. Unrestricted gifts are the most useful kind, because they can go where the need is that year.
The endowment
Lola Homsher left the Society an endowment before her death in 1986. It has paid for a research grant, a scholarship and two memorial awards every year since. Adding to it funds those awards in perpetuity.
A gift in your will
Bequests have shaped this Society more than any other kind of gift. If you are considering one, the office can talk you and your solicitor through it.
Where the money goes
The Society publishes its budget, its annual reports to members and the minutes of every board meeting. They are all on the Governing Documents page, and they are the honest answer to this question.
Gifts are processed through the Society store, which handles cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay.
